Bishop Donald and Prophetess Marcy Jessup’s first Pastorate was at the Church of God of Prophecy, Liberty, NC From September 4, 1988 - 2003. After much prayer and fasting,  the Pastors were led to walk by faith and step out on the promises of God.  

Under the headship of Bishop Donald and Prophetess Marcy Jessup, Greater Love Fellowship Ministries was organized on January 18, 2004. Articles of Faith and Bylaws were adopted and Greater Love Fellowship Ministries became an entity. 

The first service was held at Ramseur Elementary School in the cafeteria on February 1, 2004.  The church grew rapidly and on July 4, 2004 services were held at Deep River Haven Community Building in Ramseur.  Eventually, GLFM moved to Eastern Randolph High School’s auditorium.  

GLFM held its first service at 800 Moffitt Street, Ramseur in our current building with its newly renovated sanctuary on March 14, 2010 which also includes a Fellowship Room, Offices, Conference Room and Children’s Ministry. 

Today, GLFM is committed to carrying out the Great Commission which states that we are to go to all peoples everywhere and make them disciples of Jesus Christ: baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded us to do (Matthew 28: 9-20).  This day we are continuing to follow the leading and guiding of Holy Spirit!
